Psalm 2:10-12

New Catholic Bible

¹⁰ Therefore, O kings, pay heed;
    take warning, O rulers of the earth.
¹¹ Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice before him;
with trembling ¹²     bow down in homage^[a]
lest he become angry
    and you perish from the way,
    for his wrath can flare up in an instant.
Blessed are all those
    who take refuge in him.
